About Victor Products

Victor Products was founded in 1953 by Victor Zinder. Before World War II, Victor worked for Chunk-E-Nut Products in Philadelphia. After he came back from the war he packed up his family and moved to Richmond, Virginia to start his own company. He could not afford to rent a building so he worked out of the back of a station wagon. His first real location was a rented single car garage. The company is now operated by two of his sons, Mitch and Marty, out of a 36,000 square foot facility in the Shockoe Bottom section of downtown Richmond. Victor Products also operates another location in Chesapeake, Virginia.

Victor Products sells a full line of concession equipment and supplies, everything for popcorn, caramel corn, snow cones, cotton candy, nachos, hot dogs, and corn dogs. We also manufacture Top Hat brand fountain syrups and Sundae toppings as well as Victor’s Candy Apple Magic and Dipsy Dog corn dog mix that are sold all over the country.

Around 1990 we started a new division of the company. Our customers were asking if we could get fryers, griddles, and other pieces of commercial cooking equipment. We now design and equip full commercial kitchens including, but not limited to, walk-in refrigeration, stand-alone refrigeration, mixers, griddles, fryers, slicers, convection ovens and pizza ovens. We have designed and equipped kitchens for restaurants, school cafeterias, churches, stadiums and concession trailers.

In 2013 we celebrated 60 years in business and we look forward to many more.
